It has now been officially four years (okay, maybe not officially, but close!) since I've updated last. Along with the new year and it's resolutions, I want to add this, to the list. By this, I mean my art in general. My sparse journalings are only indicative on how I treat my art.

As much as I hate to say it, I'm very undisciplined, and that is so very true when it comes to keeping up with drawing everyday and just, being involved in art. It really makes me cringe. I want to change that; I want to become more active so this is my first step towards that.

I'm a sophomore in college, on my last semester before I become a Junior. It is so very exciting and I have learned a lot between 2005 and... now. Many things have happened, good and bad and all of it I would never want to change. Well.. maybe a few things but...

Anyway, with this new semester comes new art classes, YAY! This is probably the best tool to aide me in my quest to become a better artist and to become more disciplined. Art classes give me the excuse of having to do art.. which for some reason makes it easier for me, weird as that may be.

Along with wanting to draw more, I have other goals as well... becoming more active on DeviantArt... learning more with photoshop and making digital art. I also, if I can, want to get into flash, as much as I can. If anyone has any pointers, or can even just point me in the right direction, please do!!!! Hey, it would even be cool to learn how to make journal art (again, hints and tips are very welcome!!)

So this is my written declaration of becoming a more active artist; complete with updating my art and not just sitting back and watching others doing what I love to do best. Bwahaha!
